The repair and conversion of an outbuilding to accommodate the HE Painting Conservation Studio. With high value paintings being regularly worked on, the brief required a highly controllable but flexible environment and high levels of security. The design incorporats these technical requirements while creating a light and airy space to work and a sensitive response to the historic nature of the building.
